Getting Started with Data Visualization Campaigns on Aryel
How to Create Data Visualization Campaigns on Aryel
Aryel provides a great way to quickly create Data Visualization campaigns with all the features you want. Follow the steps below to easily create & share one with your audience.
1. Log in to your dashboard
To access Aryel's editor, log in to your dashboard on Aryel's platform.
2. Create new campaign
Once you are logged in, you will see the option to create a new campaign. You can choose to start a new campaign from a template or a blank page. For this article - let us choose 'Start from blank' and proceed to the next steps.
3. Select the campaign type & name your campaign
Among the different campaign types, choose Data Visualization by clicking on it. Clicking it will highlight the square with a checkmark.
Give your campaign a 'Name' that would help you to identify it. Please also note that this would later become part of the campaign URL.
4. Choose your solution
Depending on your AR idea, choose the ideal solution for your needs. How are you envisaging your audience to interact with your campaign? You can choose between:
Placed on a surface - The experience will be activated when the user's camera captures a surface
Triggered by images - The experience will be activated when a specific image is captured by the user
Displayed all around - The experience will be activated all around the user
5. Define display sequence (if applicable) and reach the scene editor
If you choose the 'Placed on a surface' or 'Displayed all around' options, you will be redirected straight to the editor with 1 empty scene waiting for your creativity to be unleashed.
If you choose instead the 'Displayed all around' option you will also find the model of a human body in scene that will help you identifying the right position to place the AR assets.
In case you choose the 'Triggered by images' solution, before reaching the builder, you'll also be asked to define the display sequence.
By selecting the random option, you'll allow your audience to trigger a specific content when scanning a different image.
And by selecting the sequential option, you can create a proper journey for your customers - using one or more triggers - that allows your scenes to be connected to each other through the 'go to scene' interactions.
6. Add your media
Here’s when things get fun: it’s time to upload the digital content that will be shown inside the AR scene.
You can easily manage all your assets, uploading them in your media library at any moment or directly here when you create a new campaign. Also, Aryel has access to third-party libraries, with over 10k AR-ready media assets.
7. Manage your media settings & properties
Access the right-side panel of the editor to manage all the settings & properties of your media.
For campaigns 'placed on surface', you can enable 'gestures & touch' on the media by clicking on the 3D file in the editor and then on “Settings.”
In the 'triggered by images' and 'displayed all around' campaigns, you can also manage the scale/position/rotation properties of the assets.
Add buttons and interaction events to these campaigns to achieve your vision.
In the 'displayed all around' campaigns, you can additionally set the 'look at user' option to make the objects always face users.
To make the immersive experiences even more immersive, it is possible to integrate virtual environments. In order to better understand the functionalities of 360 environments, please read this article.
In image campaigns, a trigger will be required to activate the experience.
Upload an image for the 'triggered by images' campaigns.
Don't forget to add your trigger to each scene!
8. Customize your experience
The last step before publishing is customization; Aryel supports white labels, so you can 100% personalize your campaign.
Choose to add your brand assets, such as the logo, brand colors and fonts. Also, you can change the Favicon, choose a custom launcher or add cool filters to the camera.
As a last touch, go to Settings and choose which features to enable: how your URL will appear, the opportunity to share the content, etc… choice is in your hands!
9. Publish & share your campaign
Finally, it’s time to post your campaign online by clicking on the 'Publish' button.
You can customize the QR code color of this campaign (with hex-codes) to suit your brand identity & the campaign needs.
Now, share your campaign with your audience: they only need to tap (or click!) on the link on their browsers and enjoy!
By clicking on the 'Get Sharable Link' button you will get a link like this: https://app.aryel.io/creativestudio/data-visualization-3160219934028583
Also, by clicking on the download icon (next to the 'Get sharable link') you can download the QR code of your campaign which you can later use for sharing the campaigns on both offline & online media.
