Once a campaign is published, you may still make changes to its content and appearance — but certain actions can impact the campaign’s link and QR code. Here’s what to know before making updates.

What Happens if You Modify the Campaign After Publication?

If you edit elements inside a published campaign (e.g. 3D models, texts, images, interactions), the QR code and campaign link will not change. You can update the experience without needing to regenerate or reprint anything.

However, some structural changes — like editing the slug — do impact the campaign’s address and therefore the link and QR code.

Modifying the Company Slug

Changing the company slug will automatically update the URLs of all campaigns not linked to a custom domain.

This means that:

  • The link to every published campaign will change.

  • All previously generated QR codes (that include the old company slug) will stop working.

Modifying the Campaign Slug

Changing the slug of a single campaign will result in:

  • A new campaign URL

  • A new QR code

This action is useful when you want to rename a campaign for clarity or SEO, but keep in mind that any materials using the previous link or QR code will need to be updated.

QR Code Customization

You can freely customize the style of the QR code (e.g. color, logo visibility) without affecting the campaign’s link or functionality.

This allows you to:

  • Match the QR code with your brand identity

  • Remove the Aryel logo

  • Make the code more visually appealing
