How to Manage Text Alignment, Style and Font

Text assets offer great editing freedom in terms of alignment, style and font management. Here’s how you can make the most out of these features.

Alignment

The three alignment options available are:

  • Left: Aligns the text to the left, keeping standard letter spacing.

  • Center: Aligns the text to the center, keeping standard letter spacing.

  • Right: Aligns the text to the right, keeping standard letter spacing.

Style

Four customizable properties are included in this section:

  • Padding: Customize the space between the text and the text box. The default value is 12. Adjust using stepper increments via arrows or text input. Negative values are not allowed.

  • Corner Radius: Set a custom radius size for the text box corners. The default value is 0, with a maximum of 100. Adjust using stepper increments via arrows or text input. Negative values are not allowed.

  • Border Size and Border Color: Make the text box border visible by setting its thickness and color. The default values are a border size of 0 and a border color of white. Adjust using stepper increments via arrows or text input. Negative values are not allowed.

  • Text Color and Background Color: Change the color of the text and the text box background. The default text color is #333333, and the background color is white with an opacity of 0.

Font

It contains five customizable properties:

  • Line Height: Set the spacing between lines of text. The available values start from 0.5, with a default value of 1. Adjust using stepper increments via arrows or text input. Negative values are not allowed.

  • Font Category: Choose the category of the font.

  • Font Language: Select the language for the font.

  • Font Family: Pick the font family from the available options.

  • Font Weight: Specify the weight of the font.
