Exploring Media Plan Campaign Details
A Guide to Targeting, Budget, and Performance Metrics in Media Plan
The Media Plan Campaign section offers a comprehensive overview of a campaign proposal, highlighting key details such as its purpose, objectives, and budget. At the top of the page, the campaign name is displayed alongside its approval status. On the top-left side, there’s a dropdown menu that allows you to switch between different campaign plans with ease. You can also find essential information including the campaign start and end dates, estimated total impressions, allocated budget, and free added value.
The free added value refers to additional benefits provided beyond the standard allocated budget. These can include extra advertising services at no additional cost, such as a discounted CPM that results in a higher number of impressions for the same investment, extra impressions and added features that improve campaign performance.
Service Settings
Scrolling down the page, you’ll find detailed information on the services included in the media plan and their respective impact on the overall budget. These services may include:
Custom Services – Tailored solutions designed specifically for your campaign.
Attention Metrics – Tools that measure how users engage with the ads.
Brand Lift Studies – Conducted in collaboration with a third-party company to evaluate how the campaign influences brand awareness, perception, and recall.
Repurposing – The transformation of rich media creatives into video format to increase versatility.
Creativity Cost – Covers the production and adaptation of creative assets included in the plan.
In essence, Aryel enhances the value of your investment by offering strategic insights, maximizing the overall impact of your media plan.
Flights Settings
The Flights Settings section features a structured table that outlines the distribution setup for each ad flight. Key data points include:
Flight Info – Identifies each specific flight within the campaign.
Country – Indicates where the ad flight is being served.
Budget – The budget allocated to that flight.
Discounted CPM – Final cost per 1,000 impressions after applying any discounts.
Impressions – Total agreed-upon number of impressions.
Added Value Impressions – Extra impressions provided by Aryel at no additional cost.
Total Impressions – The full number of impressions expected, including added value.
A dropdown menu allows you to select and review each flight individually in more detail. Below, under the Flights Settings section, you’ll find flight-specific information based on the flight selected from the dropdown menu.
Info Section
This section displays key information including the Flight’s start and end dates, the main KPI objectives (e.g., Engagement Rate, CTR), and the overall Flight’s goal.
Economics Section
The Economics section provides a financial breakdown of the media plan, helping advertisers track budget allocation and spending efficiency. It displays the budget share, which indicates the percentage of the total budget allocated to the flight. The total budget represents the monetary investment, while the CPM (Cost Per Mille) shows the cost per 1,000 impressions. A strikethrough on the CPM list price highlights any discounts applied, with the discounted CPM reflecting the final price per impression. This section ensures advertisers can assess cost efficiency, optimize spending, and monitor resource allocation.
Target and Audience
This section offers a detailed overview of the flight’s targeting criteria and audience segmentation, including the delivery country, audience characteristics, and sitelist—designed to help maximize reach and engagement. By clicking "Expand," you can view all the websites included in the sitelist, with the added option to copy each site's URL using the button next to it.
Added Value Section
This final section outlines the monetary and impression-based extras provided as part of the added value, giving you a full picture of the benefits included beyond the core flight budget.
By exploring these sections, advertisers gain full visibility into their media plan campaigns, ensuring they can effectively plan, monitor, and optimize their advertising strategies for maximum performance.
