To accurately assess a campaign’s performance, two identical socio-demographic groups are selected based solely on ad recall, allowing us to measure differences that directly indicate the campaign’s success.

These two pools — exposed ad recallers and the control group — are balanced in terms of gender and age through a recruitment method based on ratios. By aligning the control group with the exposed group, any variations observed between them can be attributed to advertising recall, rather than demographic differences.
